By Car

Follow the directions to "Tronchetto/Venice" in your GPS: ferry boat to Lido departs every 50 minutes on average (information https://actv.avmspa.it/en/content/ferry-boat-4, consider to reserve online to avoid long queues, especially in summer). You will arrive in Lido in 30 min: Ce' delle Contesse is a short 5 min drive from ferry pier using the address above.

By train

Arrive in Venezia Santa Lucia station and take the public waterboat ("vaporetto") number 5.1 or 5.2: it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Lido Santa Maria Elisabetta (Lido S.M.E) - more information at https://actv.avmspa.it/en/content/water-bus-service-timetable-0. Once you arrive in Lido you can either take a short taxi ride (2 minutes, ~10 Eur) or just walk (900 meters, ~10 min).

You can also chose to take a private water taxi from the train station directly to the Villa especially if arriving with a bigger group.

By Air

Once you land at Marco Polo International airport please go up to the departure level and follow the directions towards "trasporti via acqua / water transport" (facing the exit walk to your left until the end of the hall - you should see the departure lines and some car rental booths on your left) . Take the long covered walkway at the end of the hall, and continue straight ahead over few moving sidewalk that will take you to the escalator down to the piers. From there you can decide to take the public water boat "Alilaguna" blue line to Lido Santa Maria Elisabetta (1h 15 min, 15 euro per person, timetable at https://www.alilaguna.it/en/lines/linea-blu/orario) or a private water taxi (directly to the docking at the Villa, 35 min, 140Eur for 4 pax).

Alilaguna water bus will bring you to Lido Santa Maria Elisabetta (S.M.E.), from there it’s a 900m / 8-10 minutes walk to the villa, or a short 3 minutes taxi ride (around 10 euro).

By water via private water taxi

If you decide to take a private taxi from the airport or the train station (or anywhere in Venice during your stay), please make sure you ask to be brought to the docking in front of "Isola di San Lazzaro", near "the apartment building with blue awnings". The docking is just 20m away from Ca' delle Contesse and is the best way to arrive (until our private docking is being repaired).
